Don't hesitate calling 1800plumbers. These guys are the best of the best. Especially Terry and John. They both did an amazing job and took their time to explain things to me. They went above and beyond especially with this whole coronavirus situation going on. With all that going on they were able to help me and complete the work on time. They also took the time to wear the protective masks and gloves just to be safe with the whole covid19 situation. Thank you so much for helping me John!

I have been paying a service contract with these guys for many years. Yesterday afternoon my hot water went out. I called and was told they have nobody on call. This morning they came out and quoted me me an outrageous price to replace the tank. Thankfully I decided to get 3 more quotes, each one $1500 less than JP's! I had the tank installed and called JP's back to come clean the burner and fire up the water tank. They literally refused to come out! I called another company and even though I have no affiliation with them, they came out tonight to fire up the tank. Thank you Affordable! Stay away from these thieves. Andy, who works for them, however is a great guy and always friendly. He does not dictate the prices

Beware of these guys. They get in the door with the lower service fee and make it up in other ways. I had them over to fix hot water to the guest bathroom. They adjusted the temperature and then lost water pressure after the adjustment. They quoted me $586 to repair the cartridge and they didn't have the part so they would have to come back. This was a Koehler Faucet-the replacement cost of the whole unit doesn't cost that much! They still charged me $350 for the visit which included looking at but not changing my water filter for $121. The temperature adjustment was also charged even though they didn't fix the problem and created a new one. They left at 5pm yesterday and I had Ray Flanagan here the next morning(8am) he did the complete job in a fraction of the cost and had the basic part stocked on the truck. Beware of the hook, line, and sinker of low service fee. It's a shame to see businesses run like this. I hope the $350 was worth it because any remaining HVAC or Plumbing work is going through Ray Flanagan.

Just bought a house in Norwalk and dealt with some serious plumbing issues in my basement. John and Terry were both extremely reliable, patient, and compassionate towards our situation. Terry did a great job explaining everything for us every step of the way. After snaking and running the camera, Terry dug out the old cast iron house trap and installed new pvc and it's made a huge difference we can actually shower again without the basement flooding! JP customers always now. Thank you John and Terry!

AMAZING - These guys are the Ritz Carlton of HVAC in terms of superlative customer service. I first learned about JP's on Google where I read other highly positive reviews. Being an avid Yelp reviewer and having just read an article on fake Amazon reviews, I am always a little cynical about reviews and their honesty. I have to say from my first conversation with Christina in dispatch I knew this was a company that truly put the customer first. I made an appointment (last minute) to have our HVAC attended to. The appointment was for 3 pm. Just before 1 pm Andy calls and says he can come right away. I was elated. Andy meticulously reviewed, analyzed and cured our problem, explained everything he did and took detailed pictures of every part, every issue so we had full documentation. WHO DOES THAT? Andy was courteous, kind, honest and highly detailed in his approach. We have scheduled a follow-up with John to review a full replacement of our HVAC system largely because Andy was such an amazing ambassador of the JP brand. We have a 24 year old system which needs a lot of love. We were astounded and delighted at JP's Plumbing did for us. They are awesome.

I have heat pumps in my house which heat/cool house - been extremely happy with them in that area. Andy does the preventive maintenance and worked (with others) on one new system. So far, so great. John the owner has been responsive to a few questions/issues that I've had which is great.

I had some plumbing work done earlier this year (overflow from drain on washing machine) - work was excellent yet I feel it was expensive - they use a rate sheet and not by the hour. I got quotes on other work - my regular plumber was more reasonably priced. However, the plumber was over from JP arrived promptly, we did some diagnostics over the phone (had to come over). I will not complain about the price (not a true emergency when he came over as the puddle was cleaned up) as they did come over that same afternoon and rectify the situation (had to be snaked out - would recommend anyone and everyone have a snake - if you have the mechanical skills - in case such event happen).

I highly recommend JP's Plumbing & Heating for their professional and honest approch to their work and reputation. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because they could not resulve the issue I called them for, but for the plumbing work they did for us I give them 5 stars for sure.

I hired this company to diagnose and fix our A/C problem. We were experiencing issues with both of our units. They spent over a year and around $10,000 and never completed the job. In the end we had to hire another company to come in a fix it. They were never able to properly figured out the issues, which continued to be ongoing. After all the time and money we had spent with them they left us high and dry at the beginning of the summer when the A/C broke down yet again. This time it was decided that the whole unit needed to be replaced, probably should have figured that out before working on it several times and charging us large amounts of money for it. Even then we agreed but told us it would have to be the next week because John was taking all of his repairmen to a conference in Boston - leaving all their clients without anyone to do repairs - in the summer - who does that?? I had had enough at that point and hired someone else who came quickly and fixed it right away for almost half of what they were going to charge!! I feel like they either kept stringing us along for the money or they really don't know what they were doing - either way, they were very unprofessional. Don't waste your time or hard earned money on these guys!

Must say, I feel like I got ripped off. I called JP's for an issue with my central air. John was scheduled to arrive during a window of 11am to 1pm, but didn't arrive until closer to 3pm. I had to go back to work since I had only taken the morning off, so I had a friend wait at home for the repairman. When he arrived, he said ""it's going to cost $175 for me to look at it, but if it's something really quick and easy we can talk about it"". She said ok, and after taking a 5 min look at it he realized it was an issue with the electric, not the A/C unit. He called me at work and asked if he could flip the switch on the breaker. I said yes, he flipped it, and it started working again. He told me I should have an electrician come and replace the switch. After 15 minutes at the house and 1 flip of a switch, he still charged me $175. Since I was at work when he called, I didn't give a hassle over the phone, but I did write him an email afterwards explaining how unfair I felt the pricing was. He ignored the email. I wrote back again - still no reply. If you want a fair price, I'd avoid JP's. I'll be avoiding them myself.

I've been using John and Jimmy for all my plumbing repairs for over 12 years now. I've never been disappointed. These guys are the salt of the earth - they show up as scheduled, they do the work right the first time, but without spending any unneeded time, and they write a fair bill. If you call them with a concern, they are back to address it right away - even if it means coming out at night to get your heat back on. I recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Long live the responsive, service-oriented honest small business!
