I have been dealing with this company since 2023! When I called for a quote to replace my water heater in my condo, I requested a quote that included the permit to install. They quoted me their price, I agreed, the company send out the techs and they installed the water heater. The young lady informed me they would be back the next day to do the electrical portion and provide me the permit, etc. I'm still waiting. The owner then informed me they don't pull permits, but I had a witness when they told me they would provide a permit. Ever since then (approximately August 2023) they keep stalling. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will promise you the stars and the moon and deliver NOTHING!!!!!

I would give zero stars, but in order to not appear dramatic or overly opinionated, I will give a timeline of my experience with 1-800-PLUMBER+AIR. Initially they were responsive, sent an AC technician to my home to service the air conditioning. I have already had to have service twice on the machine and was familiar with the problem. When I explained it to the tech I was asked where I had been told that information and that I was wrong because my problem was due to a clogged pipe that could be fixed. I agreed to the estimate of $400 and the tech returned that Monday to complete the work. While conducting the service he insisted was correct, after I had explained the two previous successful fixes for the machine, our tech was very polite and amiable. Unfortunately, within 24 hours of collecting my payment, it was clear that the AC was not fixed. Set to at first to 74, then 72 then 68 degrees for three days, the lowest temperature was 76 (on rainy days, 80 when it's sunny). I called back and scheduled for the tech to return the following day. I was given a window of 4-6pm and no one showed up. When I called slightly before 6pm at the end of the window I was given, I was told by the office that they would call the tech and call me back. I received no call for 2 days. I finally called again and was told I would receive a call back. Instead, I received a text message that their technician was on the way to me - without consultation regarding whether or not I was home or available, because I did not receive a call back. When I called the office to inquire about time of arrival, I was told I'd receive another call back... Instead I asked for the managers number. I called the manager of the company who was apologetic, insisted he had immediately dispatched his technician and he was going to conduct an investigation and there would be no further charges. 2 hours after that time, within 30 minutes of the end of the window (which I did not schedule) I tried to call the manager twice to no reply, texted asking about an ETA and received no response. When I called the office to cancel the technician and ask for a refund, the office told me they would contact my manager with the message then hung up on me while I was continuing to speak. It must be that no one communicated to the technician because he arrived at my apartment shortly after, though having already requested a refund and cancellation from the company... I did not accept. There are many AC companies in South Florida, I recommend using your time differently than I did.
