I was referred to this company by a relative who heard they were good. But to my disappointment, they are actually horrible. I scheduled an appointment to have somebody come out to my property today to give me some estimates on plumbing work and I was given an arrival window of 2 PM to 4 PM. I waited there from 2 PM to 5 PM and still nobody showed up. When I called the owner of the company, his only answer to me was, """"oh I'm sorry I meant to call you but I had to send emails and kept getting phone calls"""". Adding that """"my guys were shorthanded today"""". Not a single apology or suggestion or offer to come out that day, or any other day for that matter. Absolutely reprehensible, and a colossal waste of my valuable time. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

These guys live up to their high rating. I had a water heater go out in one of my investment properties just days before the hurricane was approaching. My regular plumber (great guy) wanted quite a bit more for the replacement then I was comfortable with. So I decided to call around. This company gave me the best quote out of all the reputable companies I contacted and got back to me very quickly. The rest of the process was just as smooth. They came on time, did the job quickly, efficiently and saved me quite a bit of money. They also found that some of the repairs my plumber thought I needed turned out to be unnecessary. I couldn't be happier with their service. The man sent to do the job (I forget his name) was one of the most professional, polite and friendly contractor's I have ever met in my life. I will be using them in the future for all my plumbing needs. They do good work, charge a fair price and are very honest about not recommending unneeded work. What more could you ask for?

Our experience was awful with 1/2 Plumbing on every level. From not honoring the appointment time (we were called out of work to meet their schedule) to an aggressive 'plumber', we paid $125 to have a 'screw placed back into a faucet (even though we were told we would have a """"$15 estimate"""". Total time, 5 minutes. To replace two faucets (our expense to buy the bathroom faucets) we were told we would pay $370 to install the faucets but that they would not guarantee workmanship even if they drove away and it did not work the following day. We read all kinds of posts which raved about this group which makes us wonder if the posts are contrived. We are left we the feeling of being ripped off. Finally, we had hoped to pay with a check and were told at the last moment that this is not possible. We would have appreciated knowing this in advance. So disappointed on so many levels. I am surprised that we were asked to create a rating. Hopefully 1/2 Plumbing will grow and be better for future clients.
