He doesn't respect a client's time. I requested a quote for some minor remodeling of my new house (I'm before moving) via Yelp, then he contacted me to schedule to visit the house. He offered free estimate so I accepted it and scheduled an appointment on Saturday 9am. Even I sent a 'gentle reminder' text message Friday evening. I arrived at my new house at 8:50 then prepared for his evaluation & estimate. He didn't arrive at 9, so I called him at 9:01. He just said ""I'm on the way"" so I supposed he would arrive in 5-10 min. I sent an text message that I have another schedule at 10am so should leave at 9:40. He replied ""OK"". He didn't come until 9:25 so I called him again, ""where are you?"" He said ""5 min away"". From Germantown to Rockville is 10 miles, 20 min driving. It's Saturday morning. So I said ""You don't need to come. You wasted my time"" then left my new house for ride of my kids. Anyway he arrived then sent a message at 9:34 then requested gas fee. What an unprofessional man he is! He supposed to complete ""free estimate"" for 5 min? Even if he would offer competitive rate, I wouldn't accept it because I don't trust this kind of unprofessional person. He offered free estimate, then didn't keep the appointment so wasted my time for more than 30 min, then requested gas fee. I'm happy that I don't need to meet this man again.

(updates) Now this guy called me ""lier"". It's outrageous and motivated me to upload captured files of our text message communication. I wrote the distance ""20 min"", not ""10 min"". Read correctly. Everyday I commute between Rockville and Germantown in less than 20 min. Also you wrote ""You need to accommodate my gas money"". Isn't it a gas fee request?

James helped us put in our chandelier. He also fixed a defective furniture piece we had and now we can finally use it. He also swept up all the debris on the floor after he was done with his work. We will definitely call him again as we continue to furnish more rooms in our home.

His name isn't James Bond but he still came to the rescue when my basement flooded and I needed a busted sump pump replaced ASAP. More rain was expected on the forecast so it was definitely an emergency.
I searched for a plumber on Yelp and he was among 6 companies I reached out to for a quote. He responded in less than 20 minutes and gave a reasonable quote. He arrived a little later, came by to confirm the problem, ran to Home Depot for parts, and did the install in less than 2 hours' time.
My neighbor had the same issue and he was able to rearrange his schedule to help with her sump pump too. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing friendly, competent handyman services at a reasonable price.

007 Construction was great. I had a clogged pipe and had a previous professional come out to work on it who charged me twice as much and didn't fix the problem. I posted a request on Yelp and James called me right away and was able to get out the next day (could have been the same day but my schedule didn't work). James came out and with his thoughtfulness and persistence was able to clear the entire pipe. Would highly recommend him and will be having him back to do additional work on our home.

I called around to have someone come out to look at my toilet that was leaking. I was looking at ""plumbing"" companies and somehow ended up leaving a message with James and he called back right away. When I realized he was not an actual plumbing company I was hesitant, but decided to give him a shot since his prices were right in line with the other companies AND he was very prompt to call back. Plus, I liked his voice because he seemed honest and sincere, so I decided to give him a try. He was right on time, walked up and introduced himself, shook my hand and went to work. He knew immediately what the problem was, went to get parts, returned right away and fixed the toilet. He gave me an invoice, thanked me for my business, and shook my hand again. It was such a great experience and when I need other things done, I will give James a call. Thank you!

I wanted to replace two light fixtures in my home, both of which hung from elevated ceilings. I contacted 007 Construction on a Friday night and they got back to me very quickly. Within two hours of my initial contact, we had agreed on pricing (very reasonable) and a service date. James arrived as planned and completed the work very efficiently. He made sure that the fixtures were hung to my liking, even when it meant taking one down completely to adjust the height. Once the fixtures were hung, he cleaned up AND offered to get rid of my old fixtures (icing on the cake). I'd highly recommend 007 Construction - they're awesome!
